What is a BAT CHECK™?
A BAT CHECK™ is your annual brain health review, a call to action to check your BAT LEVELS™. It’s not a specific test, but the routine process of reviewing your biological drift with our global network of BAT LABS™ partners. This makes it easy to track changes over time, even if you feel fine. Learn more about BAT CHECK™ in our glossary.
BAT CHECK™ vs BAT TESTING™?
A BAT CHECK™ is the annual step you take, your reminder to review your brain’s health with BAT TESTING™ through our BAT LABS™ network. BAT TESTING™ refers to the actual laboratory process that measures your beta-amyloid and tau markers. So: BAT CHECK™: The annual review and action step. BAT TESTING™: The lab process that provides your results. Check out Glossary for more details.
Is BAT TESTING™ approved by the FDA?
BAT TESTING™ uses blood-based biomarker assays that are CLIA-certified and follow validated scientific standards. While some components are FDA-approved, others are considered laboratory-developed tests (LDTs) commonly used in clinical practice. See our Testing Evidence Matrix for more details.
